Hello everyone!

As I'm writing this, just a couple of hours ago, the NBA basketball season got abruptly cancelled because of Covid-19.  Other sporting events might play on without spectators. Even entering Kaiser clinic today for my son to get a regular check up, we had to be screened.  We are in uncharted territory and might wonder, is God in control, does He know what's going on?  Yes He does and you are precious to Him in all this!  Matthew 10:31 says, "So don't be afraid; you are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows."  You are not just "valuable," you are valuable to a loving Father.

I love this other verse I came across in Job 42:2, which says, "I know that you can do all things; no purpose of yours can be thwarted."  Wow!  When I think of a loving Father combined with an all powerful God where nothing in this world can stop his intentions, I find peace and comfort knowing that it will all work out.  Even during these trying times, we can proclaim, "God is still good!"
